James Tobin
Before I became a lawyer, I worked in film production in Los Angeles. I find that my law practice is informed by the approach to storytelling I learned in my prior career.
My goal as an attorney is to either tell a story that paints my clients in the best possible light, or to poke as many holes as possible in the other side's story. I think this approach is successful because, at the end of the day, my job still revolves around analyzing stories -- but now the stakes are much higher.
Arthur Bernardon
I was young when my family fell victim to an act of violence. I remember being unable to do anything to help my family. I remember the feeling of helplessness being overwhelming. However, the criminal justice system was able to get my family the justice we so feverishly sought.
Watching as lawyers helped my family get through the most difficult period of our life truly motivated me to pursue a career in law. I knew that I wanted to help people the same way those lawyers helped us. And that is why I am an attorney.
Elizabeth Wazny
Outside of the office I love to spend time with my loved ones, including my dog Bandit. Time in my opinion is always best spent outside with good company, having good conversation, over some good food.
I try to keep that in mind when practicing law. I appreciate the value of time and it is precious so I like to get right to the point. I ask my clients their goals, make a realistic plan to attain that goal efficiently and effectively and get started right away.
